Actor, Singer, Musician, Director, Coach, Makeup Artist
My name is Emily and I am a multi-hyphenate theatre artist from Long Island, New York. I currently reside in Brooklyn with my partner and our mischievous fur-babies. When I'm not performing, I spend most of my time around animals, making people laugh, painting, experimenting with cosmetology, and dabbling in video games. I love makeup, and have experience in special effects and theatrical techniques. I would describe myself as a fiercely compassionate person, constantly looking to better myself and my effect on the world around me. I have an affinity for musical and political theatre, and hope to continue a career of encouraging social change through performance.
At a young age, I began training in voice, guitar and piano, and found art to be the most cathartic way of expressing myself. As I hit adolescence, I began acting, then transitioned to media art, then back to acting. Along the way, I realized I absolutely loved to make people laugh, found my voice, and have been performing ever since.
My senior year at university, I took a liking to directing and found myself both performing and directing for the remainder of my education.
Since moving to the city, I have been fortunate enough to act, sing, assistant-direct, and entertain professionally. I have also had the privilege of honing my craft working with Broadway and West End professionals on both sides of the Atlantic.
